Tipp24 AG / Quarter Results

In the first half of the fiscal year 2007, earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) of the Tipp24 Group fell by 21.6 percent to EUR 2.4 (prior
year: 3.0) million, as a result of two non-recurring expenses. The EBIT
margin was down 6.5 percentage points to 13.1 percent. Due to a positive
one-off tax effect in the prior-year period, as well as the aforementioned
non-recurring expenses, consolidated net profit for the period fell by 52.8
percent to EUR 2.0 (4.2) million.

Billings of the Tipp24 Group grew to EUR 139.6 (117.4) million in the first
half of 2007 – up 18.9 percent on the prior-year figure. Revenues improved
by 17.1 percent to EUR 18.0 (15.3) million. At 12.9 percent, gross margin –
the ratio of revenues to billings – was slightly below the respective
half-year figure for 2006 (13.1 percent). There was a year-on-year increase
in registered customers of 420 thousand to 1,906 thousand (1,486). Of this
total, 136 thousand registered customers were gained in the first half of
2007 (prior year: 164 thousand).

Allowing for the fact that there were no jackpot draws (by chance) in the
first half of the year, Tipp24 aims to add a total of 300 thousand
customers during the current business year – corresponding to the lower end
of our projected growth range. At the same time, Tipp24 expects to raise
billings and revenue by just under 20 percent. Due to the scalability of
our business model, we expect a strong increase in our EBIT result –
adjusted for the above mentioned special items totalling EUR 1.8 million.
Even including these items we expect to post a higher EBIT result than in
the previous year.
